As a clinical psychologist and school psychologist, I have worked in several school districts and many schools in my career. When it was time for our oldest child to begin kindergarten, my wife and I discussed the several options available to us. Having worked with several schools and administration teams, our hearts were drawn to TECS because of their focus on a positive behavior support system, educational philosophy focused on student learning as the primary indicator of school success, the use of the Spalding system as the instructional methodology, and the requirement for parent involvement in the school's functioning. We have had children in the program for the past six years and have more children who will attend in the years to come. We have encountered amazing teachers, excellent aides, and supportive administrations in our experience with TECS.
